| Abstract: | The interview with Dr Sandra Hesten took place during my attendance at the international conference, "Dorothy Heathcote Now," held in Manchester from 6 to 9 November 2025. This event was organised by Midland Actors Theatre in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), which houses the Dorothy Heathcote Archive. As a previous user of the archive, and deeply invested in its accessibility for students, teachers, and researchers, I viewed the conference as a unique opportunity to converse with the archive’s ‘founder’, Dr Sandra Hesten, about its origins, history, and present situation. |
